Cold War Kids

Check this band out. They've really grown on me. The CD entitled Robbers and Cowards has been an excellent soundtrack for my subway rides. I like how all of their music videos are black and white as well.

And if Jimmy hasn't talked to you about the new Kanye West album. That shiz is pretty dopes.

First of all, thoughts and prayers go out to Kevin Everett of the Buffalo Bills and his family. Can't even imagine what they're going through right now....

But yes, it is finally here, the sports season I live for. Football baby, and not futbol either, I'm talking about the real thing - American Football. My 'Boys came out this week with a great win over the giants. Tony Romo threw for over 300 yards and ran 1 in for a touchdown. What an amazing bounce back from the devastating loss in the playoffs that almost made me break the tv last year.

I have to resort to going to sports bars in NYC since I don't have a tv. It's fun because there are a lot of different fans since there are people from all over. Plus, with 50 cent beers, you can't beat it.

Props to LT. That guy is my hero along with Tiger Woods. Talk about a world class athlete that does everything for his team. HAVE MY BABIES LT!!!

Un Blog para ti.

So after finding an apartment in MIDTOWN Manhattan, I was able to relax and play some golf in NYC. And guess who was playing in the group behind me? The man that made that dunk in the playoffs against the bulls. Yupp, John Starks and his coach Herbie Williams happened to be out there today. I actually left one of my golf clubs on the previous hole and had to go back to ask him for it. He was smoking a fatty cigar when i rolled up, and he was a really cool guy with a decent swing.

So I've been in the city for a week now. It has been hectic trying to look for housing, but now that it is taken care of, I feel much better. Urban living is a real change. Everyone has to live with everyone. You could be in a bad part of town and there would be a great restaurant or bar. You can see all sorts of people on the subways, all in the same place and the same time. I love it. I love seeing the mix, i love the cheese pizza, I love walking around, I love the crazy people, I love the art, and I love watching Entourage with Jimmy. The east coast will be a good change.

But don't worry, my heart still belongs in California. And you all know why. California Love.
